CPU spike when powering off AVR, only in full-screen mode
#1
I have a weird issue that searching these forums and Google has yet to provide any further progress on.
I am currently running the Eden beta, but these issues have been present since running 10.1 (and before iirc).

The issue: Immediately after turning off my TV + AVR (NAD T747), CPU usage will spike to ~20% on the XBMC process, and ~15% on the "System" process.
It stays that way until I turn AVR+TV back on, then CPU usage will return to normal.
This only happens when XBMC is running in true fullscreen mode. If I turn on the "fullscreen window" option, CPU usage is the same whether the AVR is on or off.

It's running on a Win 2008 R2 box, connected by HDMI. Gfx card is Intel HD 2000 (i5-2400 CPU).

For reference, normal CPU usage on the XBMC process is 1-5%.

Just my luck.. a weird ass-problem, and no one else has experienced it.
I'll try to narrow the issue down.

RC2 seems to have fixed this for me! CPU is normal after powering off AVR, as opposed to the 20-30% load incurred by previous builds.
For reference, I enabled debugging and recorded the following events that occur when I power off the AVR:

Code:
