How to do a clean -re-install of XBMC in Windows
#1
I installed a repositories and it messed up several of the functions I had with just my initial install of XBMC. I uninstalled XBMC through the Windows control panel add/remove. and then deleted any traces of it I could find in my files on the computer, which weren't many. I then re-started the computer and re-installed XBMC, but everything came back the way it was before I uninstalled the program. The repositories were still there and I had the same problems. What do I need to do to get a clean, new install of XBMC?

Remove anything that's in %APPDATA%\XBMC. Just type that part into a Run box and it'll open the folder for you.
