[XBMC-ATV2]

Here is a really weird one, ATV2 is buffering on all files on FTP, but not on SMB.

Setup:

Home wired network
Virgin Media 100MB broadband
Buffalo NAS drive

Ethernet Switch is in utility.
Broadband is in study. Nas is connected into broadband router as only 1 port in study.

ATV2 in living room and bedroom were working fine until recently, which I think is when I installed eden.

On SMB wired the ATV2's play most things perfect. Odd one or two issues so I did the usual optimisations:
> Set up ftp on NAS, and linked movies that way
> Adjusted audio settings (16bit, Optical)
> Turned off thumbnail generation

And recently everything has been buffering.

Things I've tried thus far:

1) Removed eden, installed darwin. DIDN'T FIX IT.
2) Disconnected router, plugged nas into port. DIDN'T FIX IT.
2) Tried on wifi rather than cat5. DIDN'T FIX IT.

I've connected into the atv2 via ssh and checked the FTP file copy speed from the nas box - c. 8MBs - so ftp via atv2 is clearly fine.

So for some reason XBMC on ATV2 isn't loving FTP
