XBMC Keeps Crashing
#1
So the problem is that XBMC keeps crashing on me. Just today I tried installing XBMC on 2 separate Apple TV's. I've tried using both the terminal code and installing threw aTV Flash (black). Both ways work fine for installing XBMC but the issue arrises once I am inside XBMC. There isn't one specific thing that I do that causes it to crash, it just crashes unexpectedly at random times.

I have previously installed XBMC on other Apple TV's in the past with no problems. Is there something new that happend with XBMC today, or what is going on?

On a side note, I also noticed today that when installing XBMC with the terminal code, that my download speed is very slow once i do the "apt-get update" and in the past it has been fast. Dont know if that means anything.

Thanks

i have the same issue, it lets me in for about 8 seconds and boots me out.
and it only happens since the blackout yesterday.

no matter how many units i try they all have the same problem

Happening on both my aTV's tonight. Uninstalled and reinstalled, no luck. Could it be a plug-in not working right?

Yes. its the same issue as both you guys are having. Im glad there are other people dealing with this same thing. Is this a known XBMC issue and is there a fix coming?

Definitely think it is an issue with Bluetendes and Icefilms and the repositories for XBMC. Those are the errors showing up. Not sure why that would crash this out, but my logs show those to be the issue.

Devs smarter than me can read them to see what the issue is.

So you think its a problem with the repositories and not XBMC?

i don't think its the repositories, i installed xbmc with atv flash and through telnet, without any repositories and it still crashes.

I didn't have any problems the last time I used xbmc about 12 hours ago. Now once I load up xbmc it crashes in exactly 40 seconds. I timed it twice. I deleted all of the .db files as the one post suggested, no luck. Here's my log.
