It´s a mess and I can´t figure it out !
I updated yesterday to the Beta 2 and also hooked up my new 3,5 3TB Harddrive at my Airport Extreme. My ATV2 is connected over LAN to my Airport Express und streams over WIFI from my Harddrive hooked up at my Airport Extreme.
My Problem is, when the Harddrive goes to the sleep-state after 5 Minutes idle and I want to start a Movie at my ATV2 the Harddrive spins up (but not so fast as my old one) and I get the Message that the Movie isn´t available and the question if I want to remove it from my Database.
With my old 2,5 1TB Harddrive there isn´t such a problem!!
I also added the smb timeout Command in my advancedsettings.xml, but nothing changed. XMBC will start the Movie, the Harddrive spins up too slow and after 1 second I get the error. I hope someone can help me.
