Hi,

I tried the subject setup but the video stutters in SD and HD.

However, the SAME setup works with NETTOP N550 dual core ion2 laptop.

I however love the appliance feel of ATV2. Is there anything I can do, to get mythbox working without stuttering (SD and HD) in ATV2.

10.1? There never was a 10.1 (or any stable build) for ATV2/iOS. The 10.0-9 builds were pre-Eden nightlies. Have you tried Eden Beta 2 yet?

It would depend on the format of the files you are serving from your mythtv box.

The atv2 is good for h264 at any resolution
It is crap for 720p+ on everything else
It is crap on anything that is interlaced

Mythtv records in MPEG2 for my TV card (not H.264) and it appears like MPEG2 needs more power to play (based on my experience). If only MythTV can record in H.264 (without trans-coding) that would be wonderful. ATV2 otherwise is the best appliance for XBMC. I only hope MythBox worked with it!
