Simon.

That's xbmc.log and not crashreporter.log.

I can only find in /Library/Logs/CrashReporter (as I can't find Users/frontrow only User and there is no frontrow user in there) files that are named AppleTVxxxxx, LowMemoryxxxxx, mediaserverdxxxx, ResetCounter.plist and 2 directories: Panics and Baseband. Cannot find the file crashreporter.log in there.

I put up the Panic plist up here:

Maybe that helps?

AppleTVxxxxx is the place for crashreports for the AppleTV application.

There is no '/Users/frontrow/', that's OSX or AppleTV1. This is iOS and iOS rules apply.

This is all listed in the sticky's at the top. http://forum.xbmc.org/showpost.php?p=707144&postcount=2

Well, there is no crash report AppleTV2012-2-4.plist for last night, they are all in January (before I updated to Eden). Yet I have crashed it twice on purpose. The only log that is for that date and time is what I have included in the pastebin.

So you're telling me the panic plist from that specific time and date does not help you. OK.

How can I get the proper information to you from crashes if the log file doesn't exist?

Panic are generally bad news. We have had only one occurrence of XBMC causing a kernel panic and that was from ffmpeg when running on iOS5 based devices. That issue has been resolved long ago.

syslog next. maybe that will show something.

OK, so I crashed it again, here is the syslog for those few seconds:

Nothing in CrashReporter.

More problems.

All EyeTV videos converted within EyeTV 3 with the AppleTV HD setting crash XBMC (they play perfectly on FrontRow).

So now it's not just .m4v's generated by HandBrake or MP4Tools, it's also with Quicktime codecs.

Still can't find a proper Crashreport on this; this is the closest I got:

http://pastebin.com/FTSZR4DG

Hope that helps.

I have updated to Beta 3 Eden before trying these.

Those are the proper ones for the crash (timestamp on the file is exactly as it happened):

Keybagd: http://pastebin.com/y8iiXibw
LockdownD.log: http://pastebin.com/QdzQJneX
LogAggregated.plist: http://pastebin.com/FtXzMsuW
Panic.plist: http://pastebin.com/YdyhWzSw
LockDown (another): http://pastebin.com/z5P8ud1N
Panic (again): http://pastebin.com/DwWp4by9

Hope those help!

PS: I think I have a few that are doubled. Sorry about that. I can make more crashes and panics if you'd like.
