APTV2: .jpeg files not showing up?
#1
After successfully transferring (according to the ssh program) a couple of .jpeg files from my mac to the aptv2, the .jpeg files aren't showing up in xbmc. The repo .zips are showing up, though.

I've tried loading .jpegs into

/private/var/mobile/library/media/photos

as well as

private/var/mobile/library/preferences/xbmc/media

The files are still there according to the ssh, just not showing up on the xmbc interface. Nothing happened after restarting the interface. Anyone else had this problem?

Please describe exactly what you try to do. Sounds like you want view the pictures in the Pictures section of XBMC? XBMC.log would be needed too here.

I'm just trying to change the background skin (aeon nox).

Here are the steps I try:

In xbmc: system/settings/skin/background customizer

when 'browse for image' comes up: var/mobile/media/photos

On my SSH program a .jpeg shows up in the same folder, but in xbmc the folder is empty.

the same situation when I browse another location;

/var/mobile/library/preferences/xbmc/media

Added a .jpeg to the backgrounds section of the skin.aeon.nox . I can browse to the folder in xbmc and see thumbnails of the default background images. But, xbmc shuts down when I enter this folder (4 times now), so there isn't enough time to browse through.

var/mobile/library/preferences/xbmc/addons/skin.aeon.nox/backgrounds...

xbmc shuts down and goes back to appletv homescreen.

Not sure exactly what the .log is, but here are the most recent entries:

post full log to pastebin.com and put the log here.

Beside that this might even be a issue with the skin(did you try with confluence?). Maybe it works if you use .jpg instead of .jpeg file extensions?
