Hi,
I have just purchased a Shuttle XS35GTV2 HTPC and a Crucial 64Gb M4 SSD to install XBMC Live to.

Is there anything special that I need to do either before or during installation to make sure the file system / partition is correctly Aligned to SSD Memory Blocks. I know this is important as it greatly increases the SSD performance.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

use a newer kernel then what comes with xbmc live(dharma) as it does not support TRIM, or use a newer distribution from the start.

Thanks for your reply. Do you know if xbmc live automatically aligns its partitions correctly for ssd when you install? Once installed I can then update the kernal to support trim.
