Awesome Awesome work to everyone involved in developing and supporting XBMC.

I have been successfully using Dharma for the last 12 months on my ATV2, with my files being stored on a Netgear ReadyNAS Duo.

I yesterday decided to upgrade to iOS 4.4.4 and Eden b2.

Prior to upgrading I exported my library to the NAS as separate files. This was successful and all artist.nfo, fanart etc is under each artist folder.

After upgrade, things have gone mostly smoothly, however after scanning my music folder on the NAS, only fanart and thumbnails appeared to have been scraped from the NAS. ie no artist.nfo information was displayed in the library view.

I then did an update info for all artists, however this resulted in getting basic year / genre info from allmusic (and the copyright message).... ie the artist.nfo on the NAS was again ignored.

The debug log shows the following for each artist entry

I then tried file mode and scanning that same artist folder to the library with exactly the same result.

Am I missing something really obvious? (I have searched extensively) or is this a possible bug?

Did you enable artist lookups (under settings->music) ?
