New XBMC Install - no sound
#1
Hi all:
New XBMC install here (been using WMC for 2 years.) When I downloaded and installed XBMC Darma on my system (see configuration below), I was able to get somethings working. However, I do not seem to get any sound. My HTPC below has been working with WMC for a couple of years so there is some setup issue with XBMC. Anyone give me any help/suggestions? Thanks,
Harold

You'll need to provide a bit more information: control panel settings, XBMC settings and debug log please. Here's how to get the log: help request sticky

Thanks for the response. Here is the information you requested (as best as I can determine.)

1. Control panel setting: Which control panel settings? Win7 settings?
2. Which XBMC setting? There are tons of them.
3. Here is one log: http://pastebin.com/c40rAaEW
4. Here is another log: http://pastebin.com/GfH7eHAN

ATI Radeon HD 3200 graphics Video driver is: 8.901.2.0
Creative Soundblaster X-Fi Titanium Sound Driver is: 6.01.1348
Speakers are Logitech 5.1

Thanks for the assistance.

1. Mouse settings
2. Network settings.

Seriously though, shouldn't it be a bit obvious that, in dealing with a sound problem, we need your sound settings?
