XBMC Eden beta2 is crashing to ATV2 interface usually after about a minute of playback (720p MKV media files that previously played without issue). Occasionally XBMC will also crash while idle at XBMC home screen.

At idle XBMC reports 0% CPU
During playback XBMC reports 56% CPU

ATV2 is connected to Synology NAS via Apple AirPort Express and accesses media via Upnp
ATV2 is connected via HDMI to Denon reciever, AC3 and DTS audio is carried over HDMI and set to 7.1

Apple TV Software 4.4.4 (3330)
XBMC 11.0 Eden beta2 upgrade via nitoTV from beta1

Beta1 was installed onto clean jailbreak using Seas0npass 0.8.1 (340)
nitoTV was installed using "apt-get install com.nitoupdatebegone"

tried moving all addons updated since the day before yesterday to a temp folder .. no luck
removed all but the movies db - same
