I have a weird(i think) problem. My remote does not repeat the button pressed when i power on my hdmi connected tv. if i turn off(standby) the tv, the problem vanished.

not only the button does not repeat, the remotes overall feels sluggish.

my remote is hp mce remote with hp ir. my gpu is nvidia 570. i set the remote to emulate keyboard (setup according to this page http://xbmccustomregis.sourceforge.net/)

i try view the key pressed using windows 7 keyboard properties and isolated/confirmed that the problem only occurs when i turn on my tv.

what can i do?

A progress

I noticed when i play video with 24.000fps, the problem vanished. i try pressing left on video osd and the selection scrolls. but when i stopped play the video, the problem come right back.

another thing i noticed is that when the movie is black, the repeat works. but when theres images moving heavily, the repeat just stops. it is as if the repeat behavior is dependent on the video.
