Hey guys,
So I am totally new to XBMC as a whole. And I am greatly looking forward to use it after seeing amazing videos of it on youtube.
The main feature I liked about it was how it connected to the internet and downloaded all the detail of the movies/music/tv series. But, for some reason I cannot connect to the internet at all :/ (I dont even know what to do)
Shoudnt it connect automatically?

I am using a wireless connection
I am using a Windows 7 PC
HP dv6 series
My internet is working, I can access forums and everything just not on XBMC.
Please tell me how to go about it. Thank You

make sure it's not set to use a proxy in settings>network

Its not. I checked the hardware bit. It says its connected, but then how does it still doesnt download movie information ;(

So, how do I get the movie information on XBMC on?
I have enabled IMDb

Everything sounds good... now you need to add your movies/videos once that is done you set content for the folder/drive and it should start scraping.

If your internet is working (check the network status in XBMC), thus i suggest you follow step by step the instrution how to set content and movies/tvseries library in the forum. Set right path and check scan immediately option during the add source progress will help it and using imdb or moviedb is alright.
