Hi all

When I use xbmc and go into tv library or the movie library and then place xbmc into hibernation mode and then power it back up it remembers the last place i have been in the library and also the seasons.

The problem is I have to do a xbmc reset as I get movie playback problems and wanted to know if it's possable for xbmc to remember the last library locations.

No, XBMC only remembers what folder was last open while it's running.

Is there any way of adding some sort of save current state feature when Xbmc is shut down so When it loads back up its in the same state before it was shut down.

Could ths be added in the future at all.

Maybe you should use sleep instead of shutdown.

I do use sleep. But the problem is I have it setup so that when I come out of sleep mode it runs a script that closes down xbmc and reloads it.

The reason for this is the jerky video playback bug when coming out of sleep mode. The only way to fix that is to close xbmc and reload it. There are many threads on here about that problem.

But in doing this it loses the last library position in your lists.

Just thought it would be a good option to add in xbmc to save positions before it shuts down and remembers your library positions.
