Hi Everyone! I love XBMC except I'm having a hard time wrapping my mind around a new addition to my library being able to do what I want it to do. Here's my situation:
My parents' house has all my music on one computer that streams to their local network. All fine and dandy for them, but now that I'm out of the house I want to be able to stream that same library on my XBMC. The computers involved are on Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit and I'm the only one running XBMC.
My Goal: To be able to stream files over the internet from my parent's computer to my computer running XBMC.
What's the best way to go about this? I've been reading up on NFS, UPNP, and SMB but I'm having no luck reading on how to remotely stream anything outside of a local network (again, think homes are a few hours away from each other).
