Okay, so I'm a complete Linux noob who has been learning a lot along the way about configuring this XBMC Live Install. I've been installing and reinstalling, experimenting with a lot of stuff, and I think I know my way around fairly well now. Still sort of grasping how linux works but I've been pleasantly surprised by this process and it's been a great introduction to Linux as a whole.

Can anyone tell me how to run a simple wine command at startup though? I am trying to autostart Steam every time I boot so that it becomes available for my Advanced Launcher shortcuts.


Additionally, I'd be really interested in hearing any good performance tips for wine, maybe specific to XBMC Live. Seems like the tweaking potential goes a long way. I've already tried a couple like disabling GLSL but I'm sure there are a lot to add.
