Hi,

I'm quite new in the community, but I tried to search for answer and didn't find solution.

I have old ATI GPU: HD2600 XT and followed wikipage: http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=HOW...or_Windows to enable DXVA2. When I press the O key to enable the on-screen display I can see that HW acceleration doesn't work. Tried that while playing MKVs, XVIDs. Any suggestions?

2nd question does acceleration work only during video playback, or should that accelerate XBMC during navigation (coverflow, 3Dwall) etc.?

Should DXVA2 work?
Does anybody know the answer, or maybe my GPU is too old? Or wrong forum section?

Only during playback - not sure of that card (it's on the old end) run Bluesky's DXVA Checker and see what shows: http://bluesky23.yu-nagi.com/en/
