I've downloaded and installed XBMC 10.1 on Windows Xp SP3. No skins or addons, just fresh install.

XBMC starts and after a few seconds when background appears (whether or not I do something) it hangs and freezes Windows so I need to reset it by button (no task manager possible).

The log looks fine to me as well. Can you try the Eden beta 2, or if you'd like to wait a day or two, the beta 3 and see if that hangs.

Ahha! deleted the artwork downloader folder from addons now it works. Hope this helps other people!

EDIT: All right with Eden beta 3!

I'm on beta 3 and it crash on start up. 1 & 2 no prob but 3 seems can't read the database.

Normally I just left it as mymovies and under beta1 and beta2, it will auto create mymovies58 and read it well but for beta3, it re-create mymovies60 but that's it.

Down back to beta2 and all's well. Beta3 just keeps giving me - ERROR: SQL: The table does not exist
