I have been on dharma 10.1 with crystalHD and bcm70015 for some time and I find it reliable
Recenlty I have tried the eden beta2 and playback of 720p is worse

I wonder if on AppleTv1 with OS 3.0.2 is worth installing Eden at all?

It's a beta and betas have bugs. Final should be fine, and if you share with us the details of your 720 Eden issue, we can make sure that bug is squished.

Ned I have now installed Beta3 and I can't see any issues
Whatever there was seems to be gone all good to go for upgrading
