I can not get this to work!! I have read the forums and tried this

I cant for the life of me get my xbox remote to even get recognized by this version of xbmc. Will someone smarter that me please guide me in the right direction. Please!! Thanks.

You'll need to patch lirc and compile the lirc_xbox module to get it running. This worked for me on XBMCBuntu Eden Beta 2 and 3.
