Added to Chrysler Town and Country

Has anyone ever attempted to add xbmc to the hard drive in a Town and Country? I would love to be able to load all my kids movies to the car as well. We just got the van and all the dvd's are in storage which made me think of how can I make this happen. I guess I would need to know the OS that is running and how exactly to install it. Any ideas?

Nope. I know the system your talking about (my parents have one) and it doesn't have the CPU or GPU abilities for it to even be possible.

Though it is certainly possible to make a 12 volt computer (often called a carputer) that runs XBMC and uses the video inputs.

I hooked up a Raspberry Pi loaded with Raspmc using the RCA connection in the back of the can. I loaded a bunch of movies on there for the kids. It seems to work pretty well. The resolution is not that great so some of the stuff can be hard to read.
