I would like the main menu behaviour to be modified slightly.
When you select any main menu item, Movie, TV Show, Music etc
Pressing Enter/ok behave as it currently does, so no change there.
BUT
If you press Play/P on the main menu it should then play the last item you were playing.
eg.

If Play is pressed on Movie on the main menu, then the last film you watched should resume playing, or the option to resume from last point or play from beginning.
If Play is pressed on Music, then the last music file, playlist or addon, like Last.FM should resume playing etc
If Play is pressed on TV Shows, then same as Movie, the last TV Show file should give you the option to resume or Play from beginning.

This behaviour should be consistent across the main menu.

I'd be interested in peoples feedback, recommendations etc.

This is something the watchlist script does. Several skins support this. It shows a list of in progress movies and tv shows. Same for last played album
