Fullscreen Resizing Behavior in Linux

Hello,

I am on Ubuntu 11.10 Gnome3 System.

Most time I run XBMC to Watch TV through tvheadend in a little window on top of all windows.

When going fullscreen via "\" Key and back to windowed state, the window gets maximized to full screen size.

I have to do some more investigation if this behavior is OS depended or even a lack of Gnome3 itself.
I will test this on Windows and Unity Desktop next and update this post.

I think the xbmc-xrandr.c file is the point where these window sizing takes place for Linux.
But since I am not a coder in C/C++, i'm not able to fix this on my own.

Also when starting XBMC the last window size is used but the window is placed at (0,0) left upper corner,
like the coordinates dont get saved on exit.

Maybe someone knowing the structure of XBMC internals could fix these annoying behavior,
to have to resize the window when returning from fullscreen.

Would be so great! Thanks!

Sincerely Yours
Nordsish
