I ripped my first movie last night and wanted to add it to XBMC Library but I can't find the movie file anywhere. I've browsed everything the xbmc had and nothing. Do I need to add a network? This is the first time using this program today so I'm a Noob. I can't figure out how to get the weather to work either. I've added my zip and still nothing. I don't know what else to put for information except I'm running Windows seven and I saved Bridesmaids as a MP4 to Library/video. O yeah, I was able to find my music and add them fine. Please help. Thanks

Looks like you need a serious look through the wiki's.. This forum is all to do about XBMC, so when it comes to your rips and were you stored them, that's in your ball park... Create a New folder, for your additions.. then add it to your video links, set the content for the folder. Using file mode you should be able to see your file, hit the 'I' on the keyboard to scrape and bring the information panel.

After I made this thread I figured out the how and where to find the video media. I haven't figured out the weather though. Any quick ideas?

Goto setting weather any type in your town,country the comma is the tick
