My above statement is for media only.
Irreplaceable pics, docs, etc I have daily rsync between two PC's + an encrypyted 2.5" HDD updated every couple weeks and kept at work in the unlikely event of said house-burning.
That data is less than 500 GB so much easier to archive in multiple ways....
