All of my none IMDB content has disappeared and scanning or importing wwill not bring it back why?

When i used to open the videos folder it would come up with another folder saying videos2- which has dissappeared now all it says is movies, doesnt say tv shows and in the movies folder there is a few files from the full library but not the rest any ideas?

Are the files still existing in OS file system?
Did you delete a source?
Still present in library mode?
As jmarshall said, without more info, we can only take a look into the crystal ball
BTW: Can a mod delete the other thread? It has the same content as his second post...

All the files are still in the original os library. I can see maybe 10 files from that library and nothing else. I didnt change any source, move anything. They are not present at all on XBMC. i can still access them normally by going to the direct folder.
