Has anybody come across any problem with playback of new Scene Release TV shows? As most know they have changed from Xvid to MP4 which is fine but XBMC doesn't like some of them (family guy, american dad).

The show goes in and out of a clean picture to a stretched/blurry one. I have googled and can't find info.

I have tried the same shows with MPC and they play fine.

I have exactly the same problem. In my case it helps when I disable hardware acceleration - so if you haven't tried that - give it a spin.

It worked!! Many thanks for the help, I'd given up. Also fixed a slight stutter in The Walking Dead

If you have an AMD GPU I heard updating to the latest drivers might help as well (with hardware acceleration).

If you have an Intel I3 550, updating to newest drivers (Jan 20th 2012) will not work.
