Win Google Picasa viewer

Photo
Hi All,

I have thousands of photos stored in great app Goofle Picasa (Windows). I'm quite often changing pics via this app (cut, rotation, red eyes reduction etc)

Picasa keeps all modification in own database so you can see modified pic only using its viewer

Question: does anybody know solution how to browse Picasa pics from XBMC?

Saw some other Picasa plugins, but mainly dedicated for web albums, not local photos.. Sad

What I was able to do was run external app like this:

Code:
"C:\Program Files\Google\Picasa3\PicasaPhotoViewer.exe" "C:\photo.jpg"

But this allows me only browse one particular folder, not jump between other folders...

I'd appreciate any tips / advices in this!

PS I know I can save mods in Picasa via Ctrl + S, but I dont want to waste hdd space / loose my original files

Any Idea(s)?

I think that one of the solution might be possibility to browse folders via XBMC, but run PicasaPhotoViewer when selecting JPG to open.
Maybe this is achievable ?

You get a generous amount of online space, just upload them and use the picasa addon to link to your online photos. It'd be better if it were local, but I've not seen a way in XBMC to get it to read the picasa database.

That's not an option. I have hundreds gigs of pics...
Also I dont want to reduce res / file size etc

I'm sure Picasa is quite popular - I wonder how you are manage that?
