For anyone still following this thread, I have found an RT live .strm file for live RT. It seems to work fine for me on XBMC frodo on Mac OS X. However, I did update my XBMC's XBMC.app/Contents/frameworks/ librtmp.0.dylib to a newer version (may not have been needed) and I have no idea how to do it under Windows or Linux.
