Hi,

Im new to the forum and to XBMC so I hope this post is correct.

XBMC 11.0-RC1 Git:20120226-30312f1 (compiled : Feb 26 2012)
installed with NitoTV

Recently I been having problems with playing video both xvid videos from my computer and flash streams from other hosts. At first I just did a reboot and the problem was gone now the problem is consisting.

When I play a video the first 10-15 seconds of the video fast forward about 2-3x speed then the video plays at normal speed but the audio is out of sync.

You should just need to update to RC 2. RC 1 had a nasty AV sync issue. Just update via NitoTV, even if it says you already have the latest, just hit update or install and it should do it.

I had the same problem and fixed it be deleting guisettings
rm /private/var/mobile/Library/Preferences/XBMC/userdata/guisettings.xml
