I have a working XBMC install now (older version) and the only way to get my TV to work correctly it to use a specific xorg.conf file that alters the timing to the TV (see An overscan fix for the Sharp LC-42SB45U television set when connected to a computer with a Linux operating system (Ubuntu, etc.) if you want to know about the xorg.conf I'm using). My question is, will I still be able to use this xorg.conf file if I upgrade to new XBMCbuntu Eden release?
If not, is there some other way I can set the timing to “CVT reduced blank”?
