I've just tried booting up the new XBMCBunutu release and I'm having trouble with sound. I believe I'm using an analogue connection and I've had no trouble using openELEC for the past 12 months. I've cycled through all the options under audio settings but with no luck - no menu sounds and no volume when playing videos.

I'm not sure what specs on my system will help so I've posted what I thought might be important.
