I want to change the mouse pointer from one that tells me it isn't supported to one that looks like a mouse pointer. I get it, not supported. Check. Now is it alright with you all if I use it anyway?

It says it's not supported because it's unlikely to work properly. But if you insist...
You can change it if you wish - open up Pointer.xml in the skin you're using, change the <texture> URL to something other than what's already in there, and add a texture named as such to media/.

It's not that I particularly want to use the mouse. I have a monitor and TV hooked up and switching back to XBMC is just easier by throwing the mouse over onto 2nd monitor and clicking, plus I like using the right mouse button to go back on my gyration remote.
