XBMCBuntu Crashes on Video Play(Closed)
#1
Hey Guys I am new to the XBMC community and I just want to say thanks for everything and keep up the good work.

Now on with the issues, I am having an issue with XBMCBuntu crashing every time a I play a video. Doesnt matter what type of video just shuts down XBMC and goes straight to the desktop. I did have ubuntu 64bit running with xmbc and video play fine but I wasnt able to get the HDMI audio out working properly. So I went with XBMCBuntu.

A little about my HTPC:
APU -- A6-3670k black edition
Motherboard -- a75m-d2h
Ram -- 8GB corsair/4GB being used with 32bit
HDD -- 500GB Seagate

Her is ths log

Are you using audio via Optical cable or have you changed the volume in the Audio Mixer? Try to take a look at http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=126485 I have the same problem along with others.

I am using HDMI, but I cant even get the video to play to test the audio. Where as when I was using regular ubuntu I even had 2.0 audio over hdmi with video.
