Sometimes when watching a movie I'd like to adjust the volume but don't want the OSD to pop up the volume level meter on the screen. It's distracting for other viewers. Can this be implemented as an On/Off feature?

I believe if you change your keymap to use the new builtin function to set the volume (post-Eden) it can do it without prompting.

. But tbh i've never seen a tv which ajusts volume without showing an indicator
