Hi,

Just installed XBMCbuntu on my single core atom, to replace my W7 system.

This system sits in the kitchen and is used by the wife. She is in the habit of browsing the internet whilst watching / listening to shows on XBMC.

Can she do this with XBMCbuntu. If so, how ?

Just to be clear, in W7, she would alt-tab between XBMC and her chrome browser. Can she do something similar ?

BTW, great work, it looks awesome and is massively faster than w7.

Thanks.

I am also a newcomer but I see two solutions:
1) use the "AdvancedLauncher" plug-in and add a shortcut to Chromium or Firefox
2) login using the "Ubuntu" session, set up XBMC to start automatically and in order to go on the internet press "\" to switch to windowed mode and launch your applications. This is what I use in order to both see the TV and play the "Super Nintendo" using snes9x.

Hey, thanks for this advice. Just to clarify...
I have this on an SD card at the moment as XBMCbuntu.
I launch the computer.
I go into XBMCBuntu.
I launch XBMC.
But.. when I try to toggle to windowed mode by pressing "/" ... nothing happens.. it just stays at the XBMC screen.

The key is "\", not "/"
