I know i am going to sound stupid but i quit xbmc and went to the nice desktop so i could start installing serviio and sabnzbd and what not. Now i am stuck there i have tried restarting to no avail. how on earth do i get back to xbmc

Found the answer
I have an overscan issue in the ubuntu type screen. Sorted it in xbmc with the tool provided.

I have a asus E-45m1 Deluxe which is amd any ideas how i can fix the overscan. Preferably with terminal as that is all i can get really
