heya... im about to set up XBMCbuntu or somthing like that... i have tryed xbmc for months now.. and i really love it, but the only thing i have never got to work is the rom game loader... is there any guide to make it work with xbmcbuntu?

'Rom Collection Browser' is a xbmc addon that I use to launch roms from xbmc and has a comprehensive wiki. There is also 'Advanced Launcher' although I have never use it, I have used its wiki for some help launching certain emulators.

I've never looked into using emulators or roms and wouldnt mind giving it a go, I can't seem to find any tutorials on how to set it up properly. Do you need to install an emulator and the rom browser or will the rom browser + some roms do everything?

You need RCB, a emulator and roms. Check out the wikis for RCB and advanced launcher, they're both very helpful. Oh and I also use my emulators in 'solo mode' as I find its less complicated that way.
