Hi experts,
I can't get any sound out of my HTPC running XBMCbuntu EDEN from Live-CD or from the installed (to an old ssd) Live-CD.
I ran alsamixer from remote and un-muted everything + pulled all sliders to maximum. Now I can hear the electronic noise with my headphone, but no audio cd or mp3 audio.
In the XBMC mixer application, also all channels are un-muted and set to maximum.
By chance I got sound from my receiver, but changed settings in XBMC and could not get it running again. (it was very strange, as my receiver is connected digitally and I had the "analog" setting in the audio configuration because I tried to get some sound from my headphones)
Is there a step-by-step guide, how to configure the audio in XBMC?
To test one audio configuration setting, I had to go back to "music" and restart a song. Is there a faster/easier way to do so?
Cheers,
mibo
