Once you get into the Fusion E-350 motherboards with CPU/GPU, there's always this guy on sale at Newegg for $135 - $15 Instant off. Plus you'll have a chassis Wink

These were on sale for $99 a little over a month ago, if they go on sale again for that price I'm going to pick one up to build a cheap, dedicated system for my dad's sailboat.
HTPC 1 - AMD A8-3870K, ASRock A75M, Silverstone ML03B, Kingston HyperX 4GB DDR3 1866, Crucial M4 64GB SSD
HTPC 2 - HP Stream Mini, 6GB Ram
unRAID 6 Server - Intel Celeron G1610, 20TB Storage

+1 if all works.....

This would actually be nice to test for $99.00

Hope win 7 works well with it?

I am not too familiar with the E-350

Cool to know it has Realtek 8111E(10/100/1000Mbps)

I actually like this one better its all black....

would be nice for the bedroom....

Saw a few posts on one of those deals websites back when it was $99 that a few people got them and were running OpenELEC without any issues or complaints. Not sure about Windows 7, but for a system just for my dad's boat I'm not at all worried about having Windows on it.

Looked at that before but seems to be outdated and new posts dont really say what to buy?

Yeah but eskro's list are not really geared for "cheap" machines, I would say they're "value-performance" builds Smile

If you can find some used ATV1 or atom/ion those would be hard to beat if price is #1 concern.
