I have been thinking about building a barebones for XBMC usage that would use a D2700-based motherboard with built-in GT520 GPU. Before I invest in that, I am wondering how well that would work for XBMC. It looks like the Zotac ID80 has the same specs -- D2700/GT520. This however, would not be Zotac brand.
How is the D2700/GT520 for XBMC? Are there any issues? Does it do HD audio bitstreaming well? How about 1080p video?
Thanks!

A GT520 is perfect for everything except if you want to watch live TV.

A GT520 lacks the power to nicely deinterlace high bitrate 1080i content. For that you need a GT430.

Thank you for all the information. It sounds like it has its place, especially with what I've ready in the OpenELEC forums. The motherboard I am looking at is D2700/GT520M and unfortunately there is no GT430 option. That's be a great combination -- D2700/GT430.
I had the 1080i live TV issue even with the i3-2100's HD2000 GPU. I put in a $20 HD5450 and it cleared it right up -- no more combing or judder. With all these GPUs YMMV.
