SQL-Database and NFS-Sources
#1
Hello,
i´ve recently switched to Eden v11 final and while doing that, I´ve changed the database from local file to mysql on my synology and using NFS-Sources instead of normal windows network links.
Since then I can´t connect to the XBMC library (video, audio, shows) with the android remote (on my archos 70). The remote itself works, port is 8080. Username and password set as usual.
(when clicking on music library it shows a folder with "<body/" or so but not the foldername of my music library. Clicking on that "<body/"-folder doesn´t work)

Is that because of the mysql-database or because of nfs?
Will it work with smb?

Sorry for bad english - hope you can help me.
Thx.

I found out myself: The Android XBMC Remote can also read / use the library / database of mysql.
No matter if the source is NFS or SMB or local.

The problem at my synology was the "insecure_lock" entry in /etc/exports.

Thanks for the info, might put this into the FAQ.
Running XBMC on my HTPC, tablet, phone and pinball machine.
