Hi, when I open kodi, windows 7 tool bar appear at the bottom of my screen and it blocks kodi tool bar, I am unable to press the play button or stop etc.
does anyone know how I can remove this.

In settings/system, are you sure fullscreen is enabled ?

I think you mean the win 7 task-bar.
Something is probably stealing focus from KODI
