Linux Silverstone GD02-MT: Touchscreen usable?
#1
Hi!

I'm using XBMCbuntu 11.0, and I want to change my case for a Silverstone GD02-MT as its touchscreen would be wonderfull to access music without starting the huge TV.
But, I'm wondering if it would work fine.

Has anyone already tried this case with XBMC?

Thanks!

Such a wonderfull, user friendly case without anyone to use it, or even no one who know someone using it? Huh

I've tried several search on google, but found nothing precise for XBMC under Linux. Just Yatse for WinXBMC. Sad

were no screen lovers.
there's a reason for it,
pain & poor support.

There's a lot of interesting hardware but indeed Linux support from manufacturer is often poor (Terratec Cynergy 2400i DT Sad)...
I remember my first Linux installation (1995), and thankfully, support has progressed in the right way! Nod It's not engouh but I hope it will become a standard to support Linux in the future...

I think this case is one of this hardware: starting a big LCD TV to launch music and see titles is too much. A little screen as the one on this case is great for this use, but if support (for the touch part I think as the screen itself is a normal VGA one) is poor, I understand well that spending time supporting this hardware is not interesting as only a few people would use it.
