Last night i had a HDD failure that stores all my media. I have got the drive working again but the library for movies and tv was missing
the drive was mounted with a movies and tv folder containing all the media.
If if browsed the content the posters and stuf was their but the menu items from the home screen were missing, i found that the content setting for each folder had been lost but the databases were still intact.
However upon resetting the folder content to Movies and TV the DB's got updated and i lost all the watched unwatched tags..
Would their have been a better way to recover? bering in mind no export of the DB was available. I did take a copy of the db's before setting the content type on the TV folder but it was too late for the movie folder...
