I wouldn't say hardcore, but wouldn't mind a session or 2 of Starcraft 2 and Dolphin Emulator.

I hearing around the grapevine that crossfire is causing 'microstuttering' with these APUs. Sad

You can simply try everything as-is (stock) first. If you don't like the performance, you can always add all the extras later......
