[slipsystem]

I was wondering why scanning media is so slow in windows compared to linux.

I use puppy linux 5.25 with xbmc 10.0 when scanning music my entire libary of about 80gigs will scan in 3 hours max.

in windows its taken me a couple of days with non stop scanning to scan about half.
