Hi guys.

I am running XBMC 11.0 on an Asrock ION 330 - The sound output is HDMI
I suddenly got the error message "Audio device failed to initialize - Check your audio settings".
The problem appeared when I was still running Dharma, but the upgrade to Eden didn't change anything.


I have already tried to fill in the audio device in the settings menu with the values found through aplay -L (tried several values: plug:hdmi, plughw, etc that I found on the forum)
Any directions I could look into in order to resolve my problem?

If Dharma gave you the same problem then it could be a hardware issue.

I am running Eden also on my Asrock ION 330 without any problem. I even didnt had to configurate anything. XBMC did it all for me (dual output, HDMI and optical)
