Does a case exist that is shallow, cool, and holds a lot of hard drives?

I may be in a situation with no solution, but I was hoping someone could help me with a great case recommendation. My searching on newegg has provided no good options, but I'm thinking the option I want might not even exist.

I ideally want a case that looks like an HTPC case, is at most 5" tall (the depth and width don't matter), and can hold a good number of hard drives inside. Ideally it would also have an external bay for a dvd drive (I don't care about bluray), and could possibly include a small SSD drive. The shelves of my entertainment unit are at most 5.5" high which is why it needs to be so short.

I currently have a very noisy gateway sx2800 serving as my HTPC, and a few noisy external hard drives serving as storage. I do not have the money to make both a server and a new htpc, so I was considering putting together a computer that would eliminate the noise and clutter. I currently have one 2tb external, one 1tb external, and then an external enclosure which houses both a 1tb drive and a 2tb drive. That's 4 drives, and I also have a 640gb and a 500gb drive lying around, as well as a 2.5" 250gb drive. If I could use all of that, it would be fantastic, but I guess the minimum I'd want to settle for is 4tb of internal storage. Maybe using two of the 2tb drives I have in the enclosures but still enough room for a os drive and a dvd drive.

I'm still searching myself for this elusive setup, but if anyone has any ideas please let me know. Thanks.

I doubt that you can find a case with 5" in height that can hold a lot of internal hard drives. This is "SILVERSTONE Black Aluminum skin reinforced plastic front panel, 0.8mm SECC body MILO Series ML03B Micro ATX Media Center / HTPC Case" the closest you can find in that height.......
>Alienware X51- do it all HTPC
>Simplify XBMC configurations
>HOW-TO Bitstreaming using XBMC
I refused to watch movie without bitstreaming HD audio!

This one is not that "cool" but I think meets your minimum reqs.

"Cool" is going to cost you a lot more:

I've looked at that one, but was dissuaded by the two internal bays seemingly only being compatible with two 2.5" drives, unless I used that one spot for a 3.5" and the one external spot for another, but then I'd lose the possibility of a dvd drive. Am I interpreting that correctly?

Thank you, those two look like possibilities. I wasn't really specific about what I meant when saying "cool." I just meant that I wanted it to have good airflow. The aesthetics matter, but I was worried more about it not necessitating a noisy fan.
